Aspöck opens new plant in Poland

Part of an ambitious global expansion strategy, Austria’s Aspöck Group has just completed a new €9 million facility in Kluczbork, Poland.

The company’s fourth plant next to existing facilities in Austria, Portugal and Brazil, the new site covers some 4,400 m² of production, warehouse and office space and will provide jobs for more than 40 employees.

“The focus of the newly-built production facility [will be] on injection-moulding, plating, assembly and logistics processes,” Aspöck told Global Trailer.

“The plant is being used for managing projects from the automotive sector and for expanding capacity for truck and trailer customers.

The new branch has reportedly been equipped with the latest injection-moulding and plating machines, as well as robots to facilitate the production of technically demanding plastic products.

Aspöck has gained renown for the development and manufacture of LED lighting solutions for the heavy vehicle and automotive sector.

Reportedly, capacities for the Polish site are still “far from exhausted”, with Aspöck planning further investments in the future to expand the range of products produced in Poland and achieve greater operational flexibility.
