US trailer manufacturer, Landoll, has unveiled a new generation ‘travelling tail’ model.
In a move to increase operational speed and safety, the 900D Series is equipped with a new hydraulic operating system, nicknamed HOSS, according to Landoll.
“We … needed to clean up the system to make it more user friendly,” the company explained in a media statement.
“The control panel is [now] located at chest height … and allows other optional features to be installed directly onto the control panel.”
The Kansas-based company added, “HOSS will not only increase operational efficiency, but also keep the customer safe by getting them out of the danger zone quicker.
“Overall, operational efficiencies, less heat buildup and noise reduction, along with improved driver safety are key points in the next generation trailer.”
