Ingersoll Axles launches new yoke mount suspension

Canadian axle and suspension company, Ingersoll Axles, has unveiled a new, fully integrated yoke mount suspension system at the Mid-America Truck Show in Louisville, Kentucky.

Marketed as a North American first, the new design with a ‘fully wrapped’ axle connection is said to be up to three times stronger than traditional integrated offerings with a U-bolt clamping.

Available for both disc and drum brake applications, the new axle connection is said to require zero maintenance.

Also in Louisville, Ingersoll Axles introduced Velocity’s electronic landing leg drive to its product portfolio.

Originally developed by UK start up Intelligent Trucking Solutions (ITS), the Velocity device is an automatic landing gear solution for semi-trailers that is meant to eliminate the manual labour component of raising and lowering landing legs, promoting safer working conditions for drivers and increasing fleet efficiency.
