BPW expands spare parts business with new acquisition

German company BPW has acquired a majority stake in parts supplier, NTV Nutzfahrzeugteile Oesterhaus.

NTV offers spare parts in Germany for all major brands of commercial vehicles, as well as services for hauliers and workshops.

According to BPW, the plan is for the two companies to work together on the “fast and reliable supply of spare parts across Germany“.

To date, the spare parts division of the BPW Group has been focusing on European countries outside of Germany, ramping up its local presence in 2015 via subsidiaries Besko Nutzfahrzeugteile and T-Parts.

The inclusion of NTV is now meant to reinforce that local German commitment. “At the BPW Group, we aim to be a dependable partner for the transport company through our European network of spare parts trading companies,“ said Uwe Frielingsdorf, Managing Partner at BPW

“This also applies increasingly to the German market, and we are pressing ahead with this alignment thanks to strong trade partners such as NTV Nutzfahrzeugteile.

He added, “This expansion … is an important and logical step in the framework of our strategy as international mobility partner for vehicle operators and system partner for vehicle manufacturers. [It] will give us even better access to customer needs, through which we can expand our solutions for transport companies in a customer-oriented manner.”
