Langendorf has announced the launch of a new Inloader generation at the upcoming Bauma trade show, which will be held from 11-17 April in Munich, Germany.
The updated model has reportedly been optimised for the transport of prefabricated construction elements made from concrete or wood.
Nicknamed ‘Flatliner’, the Inloader type SB 15 now offers the possibility to reduce its unladen weight by around 500kg through a change of specification, Langendorf said – albeit without revealing any more details ahead of the show.
Also, the first and third axle can now be raised by means of a restraint system in order to reduce tyre wear and minimise rolling resistance when unladen.
“Thanks to the proven and robust single-wheel suspension, the loading area has a length of 9,500mm and a width of 1,550mm,” the company announced.
“This makes it possible to transport loads with a length of more than 9m and up to a total height of 3.7m in the loading area.”
According to Langendorf, the Inloader will therefore be able to compete with low loaders, albeit without needing to obtain special heavy vehicle permits.
“The hydraulic lift arm alleviates any special technical requirements on the tractor unit, giving fleets maximum flexibility when coupling the Inloader with most standard tractor units in their fleet,” the company added.”
