This year, US transport and logistics company Werner Enterprises is celebrating the milestones of 60 years in business and 30 years of being publicly traded.
With 2016 also marking 10 years since the launch of the Werner Global Logistics division, the company has begun its year-long celebrations with events held at its terminal locations and dedicated sites across the US.
“I wanted to build a business that offered quality service and delivered value to our customers, all while creating career opportunities,” said C.L. Werner, Founder, Chairman and CEO. “That’s still my passion today, and I couldn’t be more pleased with where we are headed.”
Werner also introduced the new decal package that will be applied to new trucks and white trailers as they are added to the company’s fleet.
“It is truly remarkable what C.L. Werner and this organisation have been able to accomplish in 60 years,” said Derek Leathers, President and COO. “Werner started with one man and one truck, and we are very proud to have built this company into the transportation leader it is today.”
