Cheshire-based trailer manufacturer Tiger Trailers has taken delivery of a fleet of new materials handling equipment from Impact, the UK’s sole Cat Lift Truck distributor.
Impact has provided Tiger with two Cat EP35 3.5 tonne electric forklifts, a Cat NR25N2X electric reach truck, eight JLG 6RS scissor lifts and a single 2630ES scissor lift.
According to Impact, the JLG scissor lifts have proven especially useful for hanging curtains on trailer frames, while the forklift trucks will be used to move Tiger Trailers’ component parts, storage units and pallets around the warehouse and factory.
According to Impact, the majority of the equipment is provided on long-term hire so Tiger Trailers can take advantage of Impact’s maintenance service provision.
