Schwarzmüller delivers 10 tippers to German Geiger group

Southern German transport company Geiger has taken delivery of ten Schwarzmüller tipping trailers last week.

According to the Austrian OEM, the order included three insulated tippers and seven steel models in a special construction material spec – bringing the total Schwarzmüller share in the 150-strong Geiger fleet to about 30 per cent.

All trailers are made from Naxtra steel and equipped with electric tarps and rear-view camera systems, Schwarzmüller announced.

“Schwarzmüller has been supplying us with versatile and robust equipment for more than 20 years,” commented Gernot Beer, Managing Director of Geiger’s logistics division. “Both Geiger and Schwarzmüller are family-owned and run businesses with long traditions in their respective field – a set-up we consider to be the ideal foundation for sustainable management and visionary leadership.”

Turning over some 400 million annually, Geiger is one of the leading construction businesses in Germany’s south and also heavily involved in the sale and distribution of construction materials in the region.
