German equipment specialist Jost has used this week’s Solutrans trade show in France to showcase its range of Mercedes-Benz trailer axle systems for the first time in the country.
Having joined the Jost Group in late 2014, the Mercedes-Benz range of products includes disc-braked semi-trailer axles for standard, mega and distribution vehicle applications as well as steered trailer axles.
The the new product line had made its official European premiere at the Birmingham Commercial Vehicle Show in April.
Alongside the trailer axle system, Jost also showcased its new lightweight JSK 34 fifth wheel with vertical load limit of 16 tonnes in France.
The JSK is the first model top boast the increased safety, as the fifth wheel can be operated with one hand.
