Kögel announces new Managing Director for Russia

Kögel has appointed Milan Strmecki as Managing Director for its Russian subsidiary, Kögel Trailer Russia. Strmecki will succeed Olga Maslakova, who resigned from the company.

As of 1 October, the new Managing Director is reportedly responsible for the further strategic orientation and the operative business of Kögel in Russia.

Strmecki has been a Kögel employee since 2007, most recently as Key Account Manager for Poland and Russia. He previously held several management positions and was employed for some years as Managing Director of a mid-sized company.

“With the appointment of Milan Strmecki as Managing Director of Kögel Trailer Russia, we have not only a confirmed sales professional, but have also strengthened our focus on customer orientation,” said Thomas Heckel, Managing Director of Sales, Purchasing and Marketing at Kögel Trailer.

“We naturally also thank Olga Maslakova for her loyalty and commitment and for her excellent and trustful collaboration. We wish her all the best.”

“I am pleased that Thomas Heckel has handed over this responsible position to me,” said Milan Strmecki, CEO of Kögel Trailer Russia.

“At an economically difficult time, I am stepping in with the goal of continuously re-establishing the new vehicle sales figures and the spare parts business in Russia and thus carrying forward the more than twenty year-old success story of Kögel in Russia.”
