UPS improves services in China

UPS has enhanced its services in 13 cities in China as part of its long term Asia Pacific strategy.

The service enhancements will reportedly give UPS’s customers in the 13 cities in Jiangsu, Shandong, Zhejiang, Guangdong provinces and in Chongqing Municipality direct access to its full portfolio of services.

According to UPS, the cities will benefit from accelerated speed to and from Asia, Europe and the US by up to two days, time-definite service coverage for imports into China, later cut-off times to tender shipments by up to 6 hours and ease of visibility over shipments with UPS’s proprietary tracking solutions.

“UPS is in the business of connecting markets, businesses, organisations and people through logistics.

“As China continues to liberalise its economy, balance growth across the country and improve its infrastructure through initiatives such as ‘One Belt, One Road’, UPS is committed to expanding our presence in China and enabling more businesses to achieve their cross-border pursuits,” said Nando Cesarone, President of UPS Asia Pacific.
