Northern Irish rental company Hireco continues to expand across the United Kingdom.
After investing £25 million (€ 34.4 million) over the past 12 months in hundreds of new trailers, it has now spent £2.3 million (€ 3.2 million) on 30 new Mercedes-Benz trucks.
This year alone, the company plans to invest close to a further £12 Million in new trucks, bringing its overall investment in trucks in this financial year to £14Million.
“We recently announced the purchase of 1,600 new trailers, culminating in a total investment of £20 million over the past year,” commented Hireco’s Sam O’Prey.
“Our success has been down to the quality of service we provide to our customers, and always being prepared to go the extra mile. As a result, those same customers are asking us to extend our trailer rental service to include truck rental, and we are delighted to announce that we are taking their suggestions forward on a large scale.
“Add all of that a further new announcement which we are preparing to bring forward in the coming months, and the company clearly has big ambitions.”
Established in Dublin, Hireco now has seven outlets throughout the UK and Ireland, supplying premium equipment for contract hire and rental to blue-chip customers like Wincanton and DHL, as well as Norbert Dentressangle and Asda.
