Belgian company Wabco has announced that it will showcase a range of its latest technologies, including a modular braking system platform (mBSP), at Japan’s largest tradeshow, Automotive Engineering Exposition 2015, at the end of this week.
Announced as a “breakthrough development”, the mBSPwill be shown in Yokohama from 20-22 May. It reportedly enables heavy vehicle manufacturers to interchangeably equip their diverse platforms with anti-lock braking (ABS) or electronic braking (EBS) systems, depending on regional demands.
“At Automotive Engineering Exposition 2015, we demonstrate how Wabco’s technology leadership will further help commercial vehicle manufacturers and fleet operators to improve the safety and efficiency of trucks, buses and trailers in Asia and across the globe,” said Sujie Yu, Wabco Vice President, Asia Pacific.
