NR Evans, one of the ten largest temperature controlled distribution companies in the UK, has expanded its fleet with 15 new Schmitz Cargobull trailers.
The new trailers join NR Evans’ 202-strong fleet, 98 of which are Schmitz Cargobull-manufactured assets.
According to Regional Fleet Manager Rob James, the company is currently expanding its portfolio and the new trailers are to be put to work transporting packaged milk between distribution centres across England.
“We chose trailers from Schmitz Cargobull because we … found the purchasing process very straightforward – it’s been very easy working with Schmitz Cargobull,” he commented.
James explained that NR Evans is delivering more than £500 million (€698.7 million) of chilled products annually.
The firm has seven operating centres across the UK and provides logistical support for brands such as Dairy Crest and Dawn Meats.
