German OEM Kässbohrer has announced new detachable pin-connected extension options for its two and three axle hydraulic low-loader models.
Kässbohrer’s two-axle low-loader with pin-connection, K.SLL.P 2, now comes with the option of two extra five-metre pin-connected platforms, on top of the standard extension of four metres. Attachable between the bogie and the pool, the total length is 21.35m when all extension options are used.
With a platform height of 350 mm, K.SLL.P 2 offers a maximum load capacity of 18 tonnes at a speed up to 80 km/h when all extension options are used. If the pin-connected extensions are not used, the maximum load capacity is 25.74 tonnes up to 80 km/h.
With a ground clearance of 325 mm, Kässbohrer’s three-axle low-loader, K.SLL.P 3, offers an extra three-metre pin-connected platform extension option. When the extension is used, K.SLL.P 3 reaches a total pool length of 16.3m, on top of the standard pool length of 7.9m and standard extension of 5.4m.
