German trailer OEM Kögel has revealed more information on the equipment it will showcase at this year's Transport Logistic fair in Munich.
The brand will not only present two trailers in the atrium at the eastern entrance, but also launch its very own trailer telematics system on its stand in hall A6.
“To date, Kögel Telematics has been an add-on component that worked together with the web-based portal of a partner. [Now] Kögel will be making use of a completely new system, designed especially for Kögel trailers,” the company said in a media statement.
According to Kögel, the brand’s updated trailer telematics system provides real-time access to tracking, refrigeration, trailer and EBS data via a “clear, self-explanatory and intuitive” web portal.
A 1:10 scale model will be displayed on the fair stand to demonstrate which data the drivers, forwarding agents and customers will have access to.
On top of that, Kögel said it has “completely revised” its service offering for transport logistics, which now includes a BasicService and ProService package, respectively.
