Schmitz Cargobull’s Gotha plant delivers 100,000th vehicle

Schmitz Cargobull’s Gotha plant has completed its 100,000th vehicle, a S.KI Tipper, which has been delivered to waste management company Schuster KG.

Managing Director of Schmitz Cargobull Gotha, Reinhard Eberle, along with the Sales Director for Germany and Western Europe, Frank Reppenhagen, personally handed the vehicle over to Schuster KG Owner, Paul Schuster.

The dark blue 8.2m rounded steel body semi-trailer, emblazoned with Schuster KG's logo, joins the more than 70 tippers the Gotha plant has produced for Schuster KG for transporting bulk goods such as excavated earth, railway ballast, rough gravel, rubble and asphalt.

“The day-to-day work is often very rough and the steel body is durable, which was a key factor in our decision. Combined with the weight-optimised chassis, the Schmitz Cargobull vehicles from Gotha are also the first choice in terms of efficiency. That is why we have also ordered an additional seven vehicles,” said Schuster.

“Because vehicles have been constructed in Gotha since 1898, the employees here essentially grow up with the expertise and high standards of quality and sustainability in both the design and production,” said Eberle.
