Stemco, a Texas-based company specialising in wheel end, braking and suspension components, has acquired Californian aerodynamic technology specialist ATDynamics.
Going forward, ATDynamics href=”https://3.26.16.133/news/article/us-fleet-to-invest-in-aerodynamic-optimisation”>TrailerTail and EcoSkirt devices will be offered through Stemco's Innovative Tire & Mileage Solutions (ITMS) group, which also sells automatic tyre inflation systems.
“The acquisition of ATDynamics aligns with our strategic direction to assist our fleet customers in improving fuel efficiency and increasing tire life,” commented Stemco President, Todd Anderson.
“It continues to build a solid platform from which we can offer a more complete line of aerodynamic products. The patented, award-winning TrailerTail technology can improve a trailer’s fuel efficiency by over five per cent without hindering cargo capacity, loading or unloading,” he added.
