German trailer manufacturer Schmitz Cargobull has appointed Andreas Klein as its new Director of Operations.
Klein started in the new role on 1 January 2015, working with the current Director of Operations, Josef Buddenkotte, whose contract ends on 31 March after 25 years with the company.
“The Executive Board and the Supervisory Board of Schmitz Cargobull AG thank Josef Buddenkotte for his hard work and his contributions to the company,” said Jürgen Kluge, Chairman of Schmitz Cargobull AG.
Klein has international experience in the areas of quality management, process development, purchasing and production.
“His profound knowledge, management skills and his affinity for the vehicles made Andreas Klein ideal for the Operations Division,” said Kluge.
Klein commented, “I look forward to the new responsibilities at Schmitz Cargobull, which has a successful business model to build on.”
