ITE is currently responsible for the organisation of a range of commercial road transport shows in Russia and surrounding countries and has now secured access to Breakbulk’s portfolio of trade exhibitions, congresses, workshops, print media and digital media.

Dedicated Breakbulk trade events are scheduled to be held in Houston, Antwerp, Shanghai, Johannesburg, Istanbul and Sao Paulo. A new event serving the Middle East is also on the cards, according to ITE.

Commenting on the acquisition, ITE’s Transport & Logistics Industry Director, Laurent Noel, said, “This acquisition significantly increases our presence in the global transport and logistics sector.

“We have ambitions to expand in markets and geographies with growth potential as well as diversify the geo-political risk in our portfolio. This deal means that we now have 16 events in fourteen countries across four continents.”

The Breakbulk management team, including Managing Director Alli McIntyre, is said to be staying with the business.
