FedEx Freight CEO to retire

US company FedEx has announced that William J. Logue will retire as President and CEO of its FedEx Freight subsidiary on 31 December 2014, citing health concerns.

Michael L. Ducker, Chief Operating Officer of FedEx Express, will succeed Logue as of 1 January 2015.

“Bill Logue has established himself as an all-time great leader during his 25 years at FedEx, and while we are sorry to see Bill retire, he has our gratitude, support and best wishes,” said Frederick W. Smith, Chairman and CEO of FedEx Corporation.
