H. Parkinson Haulage invests in fleet upgrade

UK distribution company H. Parkinson Haulage (HPH) has recently added 35 new SDC curtain-siders to its fleet.

According to SDC, the new delivery consists of a range of extended length 15.6m and standard 13.6m curtain-siders, and is part of HPS’s commitment to invest more than £2 million (€2.55 million) in infrastructure, vehicles, equipment and technology to broaden its client base.

Chris Parkinson, Managing Director of H. Parkinson Haulage, commented: “I am delighted to add 35 new SDC trailers to our fleet.

“By continuously re-investing in our diverse fleet of trailers, we hope HPH can provide a solution for every haulage scenario and deliver a service that’s tailor-made for each customer’s individual requirements and continue to ensure an excellent level of service.”

Parkinson added that the new 13.6m and 15.6m curtain-siders will be used to service the company’s growing UK client base, including Kimberly-Clark and IKO PLC.

Manufacturing across four sites in the UK, SDC Trailers added it was now set to increase its production levels to 200 trailers per week, in response to a high level of market demand.
