Utility receives largest order in company history

US trailer manufacturer, Utility, has received the largest single trailer order in its history, placed by Missouri-based trucking company, Prime Inc.

According to Utility, Prime has ordered 2,500 Utility 3000R reefer trailers via mid-west dealership ‘Utility Trailer Sales of the Ozarks’.

“Our focus on safety, efficiency, and sustainability were the major factors in this purchase,” said Paul Higgins, Director of Maintenance for Prime.

With the recent order, Prime has now purchased a total of 5,000 Utility reefer trailers from the dealership. Its first Utility purchase was in 2009, with an order of 450 trailers.

Reportedly, Prime’s new trailers will be equipped with Utility’s USS-120A-4 aerodynamic side skirt and disc brakes.
