US company Phillips Industries has entered into a cooperation agreement with Winkler, one of the largest parts networks in Germany and central Europe.
“The new cooperation with Winkler accelerates Phillips Industries’ distribution footprint in the European market by utilizing Winkler’s highly regarded network in Germany and throughout central Europe to reach their growing list of customers,” Phillips said in a statement.
“Since entering the European market in 2011, Phillips has established a network of distribution points servicing the United Kingdom, Scandinavia and major commercial vehicle centres on the European continent. “
Specialised in manufacturing air and electrical products for commercial vehicles, the company also has sales, service and warehousing facilities in Belgium.
“This is an important step for Phillips,” stated Travis Hopkey, Director of Global Business Development. “Winkler is a company with an outstanding reputation of supplying high-quality replacement parts and we are very excited to be a part of their product offering. A cooperation with Winkler is a key part of our long term goal of establishing Phillips as a global option for air and electrical component needs.”
