“The acquisition of Mercedes-Benz Trailer Axle Systems by the Jost Group is to be completed in early 2015, subject to successful final negotiations and approval by the responsible anti-trust authorities,” Jost told Global Trailer today.

“The employee representatives at the Daimler plant in Kassel, Germany, were included early on in the negotiations on issues concerning the affected employ-ees.”

Jost also mentioned the affected employees were kept up-to-date through vari-ous information events and that it intended to expand the Mercedes-Benz axle business in future.
