St Petersburg-based TIS Group, one of Russia’s leading heavy haulage businesses, has taken delivery of three PST/SL-E heavy-duty modular transporters made by German company Goldhofer.
The order included one six-axle and two four-axle vehicles, all of which were handed over to TIS CEO Alexander Ivanov at the Goldhofer factory in southern Germany.
According to Ivanov, the PST/SL-E series is ideally suited for multimodal heavy-duty work and oversized cargo. In addition to the 45-tonne maximum axle load and a steering angle of +/- 135° for optimum maneuverability, Ivanov particularly appreciated the flexibility available for a wide range of operations by combining the PST/SL-E transporters with Goldhofer’s THP heavy-duty modules.
