Schmitz Cargobull wins Best Brand Award

Schmitz Cargobull has been named Germany’s best trailer brand at the 2014 Best Brand Awards held in Stuttgart.

“We are pleased to receive this prize for our entire brand,” said Board Member, Ulrich Schöpker – attributing much of the success to the introduction of Schmitz’ own trailer refrigeration system in 2013, which now allows the company to market a range of targeted product packages.

“It serves as an integral part of our … complete package consisting of a refrigeration unit, box semi-trailer, telematics and full service package, and immediately took second place [in the German market], despite being the newcomer.”



The award honoured Schmitz Cargobull’s early commitment to developing a comprehensive brand strategy where research and development, production and sales all collaborate in a “tight network”.
