Werner Enterprises has been named the 2014 NASSTRAC Carrier of the Year in the National Truckload category.
NASSTRAC, also known as the National Shippers Strategic Transportation Council, is a US trade association that has provided education, advocacy, connections and solutions to shippers and carriers since 1952.
“When it comes to providing exceptional customer service, the Werner team strives to raise the industry’s bar a little higher each year,” said Werner President and COO, Derek Leathers.
“The voice of the shipper is one of the true measures by which we can gauge our progress, and receiving this award speaks volumes about the strides we continue to make.”
The award recognises carriers that demonstrate excellence in performance and value. Werner earned the distinction for its “exceptional customer service, outstanding business relationships, competitive pricing, operational excellence and proven leadership in technology”.
The company previously has been named the NASSTRAC Carrier of the Year for the National Truckload category in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2013.
