Transcraft receives ISO 9001:2008 registration

Transcraft Corporation, a US-based producer of platform trailers and part of the Wabash National family, recently received ISO 9001:2008 registration for its Cadiz plant in Kentucky.

The ISO 9001:2008 standard, published by the International Organization for Standardization, is an international reference for quality management requirements and continuous improvement of business-to-business interactions.

“This is a significant milestone for Transcraft. Not only does it provide a standardized quality system to build upon, it further solidifies our commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence,” said Brent Yeagy, President of Commercial Trailer Products at Wabash National.
“I'm proud of the team in Cadiz. This achievement was only made possible through the combined effort and dedication of each and every associate at our Transcraft operation.”

The ISO 9001:2008 standard provides guidance and tools for organizations that want to ensure their products and services consistently meet customers' requirements, and that quality is consistently improved. The standard is based on a number of quality management principles, including a strong customer focus and a process of continuous improvement.

“Achieving ISO 9001:2008 registration reflects our commitment to upholding world-class quality standards in our manufacturing operations,” said Dick Giromini, Wabash National's President and CEO.The ISO 9001:2008 standard, published by the International Organization for Standardization, is an international reference for quality management requirements and continuous improvement of business-to-business interactions.
