Johnson focuses on environmental performance

US company Johnson Refrigerated Truck Bodies has presented a range of environmentally friendly refrigerated truck bodies at the 2014 NTEA Work Truck Show in Indiana.

According to Johnson, a wholly owned subsidiary of Great Dane, the event was not only about exhibiting the company's latest composite truck body models, but also about educating the public on environmentally friendly all-electric refrigeration systems with cold plate technology.

The Johnson display equipment at the NTEA show included the brand’s top-selling Blizzard XL truck body mounted on a Freightliner M2 truck chassis, and a 13'6″ Guardian LT truck body mounted on a GMC Cutaway truck chassis.

Both display units featured all electric (compressor & holdover plates) refrigeration systems to demonstrate the advantages of next generation cooling technology.
