German transport equipment specialist SAF-Holland has expanded its landing leg range by adding a new “Drop Leg” model.
“To complement the series of performance-tested, reliable, high-quality trailer support systems, another economical and robust landing gear type has been added to the range,” the company said, stating the Drop Leg model was designed to be “economical, robust and fast” and fit any trailer brand.
Durable components like high strength steel tubing and robust pull handles are supposed to make the Drop Leg as rugged as possible. “Careful production and quality control ensure durable operation and performance safety even under most difficult conditions,” SAF-Holland said.
The Drop Leg also features a round steel foot welded on four sides and a sealed top cover to resist water and contaminant infiltration. “Due to a robust pull handle, operation in all weather conditions is fast and easy.”
