Faymonville to open new branch in Russia

Belgian trailer manufacturer Faymonville is planning to open a 2,535-m2 service centre in Noginsk, a town near the Russian capital of Moscow.

Scheduled for completion by the end of the year, the new facility will not only handle sales, but also provide service and spare parts for Faymonville equipment in Russia.

“Due to the rough climate in Russia, general overhauls and regular maintenance are necessary from time to time – depending on the brand and field of application,” Faymonville said, pointing out the Noginsk branch will handle any mechanical, braking, electronics, pneumatics or hydraulics issue. “Faymonville [also] offers the possibility to carry out blasting, painting or welding in Noginsk.”

The Faymonville team also announced it will offer special trailer handling training for drivers who want to get familiar with the product.

“Faymonville Russia in Noginsk will be the central selling point of this market. Stock vehicles of the wide product range are immediately available. The import of new or used trailers to Russia will be handled through the new centre in Noginsk as well. Good news for customers, because it will reduce red tape,” said Faymonville.

Reportedly, the site could be operational in early 2014.

The company also pointed out that the final assembly of the MAX Trailer model is now being carried out in Goleniow, Poland. The site was expanded by a new 5,500 m2 hall – including a modern painting and assembly line. A new service work shop was also opened.
