European trailer manufacturer Kässbohrer has unveiled a special coil transport vehicle built on behalf of Dutch steel transport specialists Trex Cargo and ICTS.
Specifically designed for the transport of steel coils, the K.SCC X+ model is based on a robust chassis to ensure maximum stability and strength. Therefore, all “pillar pockets” and the side pillars themselves are made of solid steel.
According to Kässbohrer, a “sliding roof” is supposed to streamline the loading and unloading process when using cranes.
The curtain-sided semi, equipped with an anti-theft curtain, can also be used as a standard trailer to transport palletized and general freight.
The sale was initiated by Kässbohrer’s local cooperation partner, Trailer Groep Nederlands (TGN).
