Global Trailer now fully digital

Global Trailer has gone digital, with every issue now available from the Appstore and a vibrant online community shaping up on Twitter and LinkedIn.

“Social media have become a vital part of everyday life and Prime Creative Media, the publishing house behind Global Trailer, has always been at the forefront of implementing new, innovative technologies into our business,” said Managing Editor Sebastian Grote.

“In less than two years, Global Trailer Magazine has become an internationally acclaimed industry resource, so utilising the digital space was just the next logical step to grow our audience around the world. And I believe an iPad app is just the right tool to service that global business community.”

GT app

Specially designed for the iPad and iPad Mini, the all-new Global Trailer application takes a look at the global trailing equipment industry in an e-zine format based on the much talked-about print edition, which is brought to the market by Melbourne-based publishing house, Prime Creative Media. The app will be available for free for a limited time, including all back issues and the most recent instalment, GT 11.

In addition to that, Global Trailer has recently launched a bi-weekly newsletter. “The newsletter is already going out to more than 8,000 subscribers, which is a great success after just one edition,” said Grote. “We will continue to work hard to increase our subscriber base and make it the most important international news resource for the global trailer community.”

GT LinkedIn community

Complementing Global Trailer's digitial footprint, the magazine is now also on LinkedIn. According to Grote, the LinkedIn community will create a global commercial road transport forum boasting breaking news from all specialist publications involved, plus a wealth of discussions started by industry members and moderated by Prime Creative’s team of expert journalists and editors.
