German transport company Heinloth has taken delivery of 75 new Kögel Cargo Light trailers in a move to expand the 350 vehicle strong corporate fleet. One of the trailers features a special curtain design which will be presented at the Transport Logistic trade show in Munich next week.
According to Kögel, the Cargo model's key advantage is the low tare weight of 5.2 tonnes. “The light-weight frame is designed to carry 35 tonnes,” the company announced, praising the new, robust construction of the steel chassis, which was recently optimised to carry more payload and is fitted out with a coupling plate with 2-inch kingpins.
The Cargo has a total length of 13,950 millimetres and is 2,550 millimetres wide.
