ITTEC12 Outlook Conference program released

In the two days leading up to the International Truck, Trailer and Equipment Show (ITTES) in Melbourne, local transport associations VTA, ARTSA and TIC are hosting an Outlook Conference focusing on the state of the global commercial road transport industry. The show – proudly supported by Global Trailer – will take place on Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th March.

With sessions on the current and future markets in Europe, China, the US and Australia as well as dedicated OEM and component supplier sessions, the Conference promises to deliver great value for all participants.

“We wanted to look into the future of our industry, but also have extensive up-to-date panel sessions,” says Dr Peter Hart, Chairman of ARTSA and the organising committee. “We have found a magnificent venue in Port Melbourne, and combined with a vast number of senior industry representatives we can expect some really informative exchanges.”

The Conference will review current production from around the world and forecast demand for both trucks and trailers. “We have the leading regulators including the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator, National Road Safety Council as well as the Chief Executive of VicRoads and the Federal Department of Infrastructure and Transport speaking,” says Dr Hart. Technology reviews, case studies and a final panel with seven leading speakers will finish the conference on Wednesday afternoon.

“Rarely do we get the chance to line up these speakers and to exchange views on the future of the heavy vehicle truck and trailer sector. It is too good an opportunity to pass up”, Dr Hart concludes.
