US trailer manufacturer Benlee acquires local rival Dunright

Michigan-based trailer manufacturer Benlee has acquired local rival Dunright Trailer Manufacturing. The new combined company will be known as Benlee Dunright and will be located in Romulus, Michigan.

Dunright, also based in Michigan, has been a manufacturer of roll-off trailers and roll-off trucks since 1976. “Dunright has always been a very terrific competitor of ours, and when the opportunity arose to acquire the company we jumped at it,” says Benlee owner, Greg Brown. “Dunright has a very loyal customer following, and we look forward to serving them.”

“With the addition of Dunright and its product lines we will be able to better serve the needs of our customers and it will allow us to continually improve our already great product line”, Brown says.

“This is a great opportunity for our teams to work together and produce the best equipment now and into the future,” adds Jim Reeves, Benlee's sales manager.

Benlees Dunright will continue to manufacture the Dunright products. Parts and service for existing Dunright trailers are available immediately.
