Heil Trailer International sets safety record
In May, Heil Trailer International’s production facility in Athens, Tennessee achieved over one million production hours and 500 work days without a lost time injury.
According to an official statement, this is the second time in 5 years that the Athens facility has achieved that goal. During the time of this achievement, the facility has increased production by over 50 per cent while increasing employee count by 66 per cent. No work-related injury or illness has prevented employees from fulfilling scheduled work shifts since December 4, 2010.
